After years of having to ask Highways England to come and cut the grass verges along the A590 from the Trinity Church to the Beehive (now the Blue Light Hub and Retail Park site) we have managed to get a commitment from them to cut the grass on a regular basis at least 4 times a year.
Commenting, Cllr. Janette Jenkinson (Ulverston West, SLDC) said "You will have noticed a big difference this year, the area now looks well kept and tidy. This is all thanks to my Conservative colleagues and I working together, in keeping up the pressure on Highways England. A big thank you as well to Ulverston in Bloom for their contributions of beautiful flower displays they really make a difference."
